In the form of theoretical explanations and practical preparation exercises, anatomical and physiological principles for understanding the special equine masticatory dynamics will be developed. In particular, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and the muscle groups responsible for the masticatory movement, including their innervation, are anatomically worked through under expert guidance. In lectures, the basic principles of veterinary diagnostics and therapy for temporomandibular joint disorders will be explained in a generally understandable way.
